If you want to see an amazing artist but have a budget the lawn seats are for you. Get there early and you can get close to the front so the view is even better! Definitely will be coming back! The people on the lawn are so much fun!

Bring something to sit on

The views from the lawn are overall pretty good. The video screens on the pavilion help to see things. You cannot bring in lawn chairs so you have to rent. Blankets are allowed so that's what I would suggest. We sat toward the side of the lawn because it was closer. The middle of the lawn tends to fill up faster.

  The lawn at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis is open seating and uncovered. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to reserve a spot near the center of the lawn where there are no obstructions.
  Blankets and lawn chairs are allowed on the lawn. However, lawn chairs must have a low back and be no more than nine inches off the ground. Chairs are available for rent from the venue on the day of the show.
  The Reserved Lawn section is typically in the middle of the lawn right behind the Center section at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre. Ticket Holders will have reserved seats in this section on the lawn.

Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre Reserved Lawn Seats

Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre (originally World Music Theatre and formerly New World Music Theatre, Tweeter Center and First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre) is an outdoor music venue located in Tinley Park, Illinois, that opened in 1990. It is one of the largest music venues in the Chicago area, with a capacity of up to 28,000 spectators: 11,000 reserved seats and 17,000 lawn seats.^[1]

It is a venue pulling fans from the city of Chicago, as well as surrounding suburbs and neighboring states. It is one of only a few large outdoor amphitheatres in the Chicago area.

Nederlander Concerts and Jam Productions co-managed the venue from 1994 to 1999.

Hollywood Casino acquired the naming rights, beginning in 2015.^[2] The venue is owned by Live Nation.^[3]

Concerts and music festivals[edit]

The venue has hosted many concerts and music festivals, including All That! Music and More Festival, Anger Management Tour, Area Festival, B96 Pepsi SummerBash, Country Throwdown Tour, Crüe Fest, Crüe Fest 2, Curiosa Festival, Family Values Tour, Farm Aid, Furthur Festival, Gigantour, The Grateful Dead, H.O.R.D.E. Festival, Honda Civic Tour, Lilith Fair, Lollapalooza, Loopfest, Mayhem Festival, Ozzfest, PIQNIQ, Projekt Revolution, Rock the Bells Festival, Sounds of the Underground Festival, Sprite Liquid Mix Tour, Uproar Festival, Vans Warped Tour and WKQX Q101.1's Jamboree and 101WKQX's Piqniq.

Cher was the very first entertainer to perform at the venue – it was barely completed then – during her Heart of Stone Tour on June 2, 1990.

Kiss headlined the venue's second day of operation on their Hot in The Shade Tour on June 3, 1990.

David Bowie performed 2 consecutive shows of his Sound+Vision Tour on June 15 and 16, 1990.

Depeche Mode performed 2 consecutive shows during their World Violation Tour on July 2–3, 1990, with Nitzer Ebb as their opening act. Live footage shot by longtime collaborator Anton Corbijn was used for the official music video to their song 'World in My Eyes'.

The Grateful Dead show on July 23, 1990 was the last show that keyboard player Brent Mydland played before his death three days later.

Janet Jackson performed 3 shows during her Rhythm Nation Tour on July 29-30, and August 1, 1990.

Bonnie Raitt performed here during her 1990 North American Summer Tour on August 23, 1990.

Whitney Houston performed at the venue during her I'm Your Baby Tonight Tour on June 30, 1991.

ZZ Top performed at the venue for their Recycler Tour on August 23, 1991

Genesis (band) performed here during their We Can't Dance tour on June 25, 1992.

U2 performed 3 shows during the ZooTV Tour on September 15-16-18, 1992.

Bon Jovi performed at the venue during their I'll Sleep When I'm Dead Tour on July 24th, 1993.

The Eagles performed here during their Hell Freezes Over tour July 14, 1994.

Dave Matthews Band has performed here many times, including in 1995 at the H.O.R.D.E. festival, where their set included the first ever known live performance of their hit Crash Into Me.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers performed here during their Dogs With Wings Tour on September 15, 1995.

Spice Girls performed a sold out concert at the venue during their Spiceworld Tour on July 27th, 1998.

Bob Dylan and Paul Simon performed here during their Never Ending Tour on July 9, 1999.

Roger Waters performed his In the Flesh tour on July 8, 2000.

All but one of the Lollapalooza tours played at the venue, from August 1991 through July 2003. (The 1996 tour played at the Winnebago County Fairgrounds instead).

Phish performed during their Rift Tour on August 14, 1993, the show was recorded and later released, as Live Phish Volume 7, on April 16, 2002.

Rush performed during their Test for Echo Tour on June 14, 1997. Much of this show was featured on their live album, entitled Different Stages, released on November 10, 1998.

Disturbed performed during Q101.1's 2001 Jamboree, they used live footage of their song 'Down with the Sickness' for its official music video.

Fall Out Boy and Paramore performed during their co-headlining Monumentour on July 11, 2014, with The New Politics as their opening act. Paramore used live footage from this show in the music video for their new song 'Last Hope'. Fall Out Boy returned on July 11, 2015, this time on tour with rapper Wiz Khalifa.

Bruno Mars was the headliner on June 20, 2014.

Paul McCartney performed at the venue on July 25 and 26, 2017.

Spice Girls performed a sold out show on July 27, 1998 during their Spiceworld Tour.

Kesha and Macklemore both performed on July 14, 2018 as part of their joint tour The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore.
