Pocket Slot Maplestory Reboot

Hi! Flames are being added to GMS, so I’ve taken the liberty of essentially converting the information available at Strategy Wiki into something more friendly for GMS.
  1. Maplestory Pocket Slot Quest

  3. Reboot Vs Non Reboot Maplestory
  4. Pocket Slot Maplestory Reboot Xp

Use these steps to unlock the pocket slot. First you have to get your charm up to level 30. Press 'B' to see traits. Do the new monster park and buy Mustachesand equip them for 100 charm each. Once you’ve decided on an awesome mobbing class, you can check out our Maplestory level 1-275 training guide. Here are some of the best classes for mobbing and farming in Maplestory. Kanna, a mage of the Sengoku branch, is arguably the best farming class in Maplestory because of Kanna’s incredible full map attacks and kishin skill.

Disclaimer: This guide does not tell you exactly how and where to get Flames, or what hypothetical Flames give what Levels as Nexon America could most certainly change a lot of things around. Additionally, this is information on Flames that is currently available to us in English, and does not reflect it being available in game for GMS.

Yo guys i have charm att lvl 30 and i have the rose clipping item, dispite this i cant seem to talk to the big headward prince and get my pocket slot unlocked. Have they changed the way you uluck it because i cant find it if so. When i talk to the NPC he only says i need a royal hair coupon to talk to him and i have no other option it seems.

Flames are additional options that give either a set amount of stat (useless or useful) or m/att based entirely on the level of the item and RNG. You can get stats on equips even if the equip doesn't currently have it, granted if the equip allows it (no Jump on Weapons, etc). They also can give other options like %all or Level requirement reduction on all equips, or a possible selection of %boss, or %damage on Weapons. Flames will either give 1-4 unique options, or they’ll always give 4 unique options if the item drops in some shape or form from a boss. The options have Levels of stat gained; from 1-7 (In KMS; it might be different when it gets ported over to GMS as MSea’s max level is 5)
Do note, The following item slots cannot get Flames:

Maplestory Pocket Slot Quest

Rings
Shoulder
Medals
Emblems
Badges
Hearts
Secondary Weapons (including katara)
Yes, you can get Flames on your pocket item.
That said, Flames can be divided into a few categories. The first is if it’s a Weapon or not. Weapons gain m/att from flames based on the base m/att of the weapon, and gain the same amount of stat as non-weapons. The second classification only really applies for weapons; if it’s a Boss item or not. Boss items gain less attack than non-boss items.

[1] Introduction

Hi, I’m Sylvidian (name changed from ArtOfTao), a 221 Mercedes in Reboot. With the new 25* update, many people will probably be going for the new BiS ring, Meister Ring. I’ve gotten a lot of questions recently about how to make one, so that’s my motivation for making this guide. This is a work in progress. I don’t have all the answers and I may not have found the most optimal way to do things, but I’ll share with you how I got this far. For the record, I’ve played Reboot for 4 months, so while it may seem daunting, it doesn’t take as long as you think.

Here’s a look at my progression and materials I’ve acquired so far for professions. I have 2 Meister Rings made already. (Can’t enlarge the SS anymore :/ )

[2] Acquiring Materials

I’ve tried to take advantage of EVERY opportunity that I can to get materials so that when I actually try to train my professions, I actually have my materials ready to make things. **I’ve gone so far as to give all my mules professions at lvl 35 so I can mine and harvest on those characters as well. Makes it a lot easier to gain all materials.**

First, these SIX sources should be mined or harvested on sight, every time:

Gold Flower(Oils) Heartstone (Plates / Gems) Mysterious Legendary Vein (Ores)Mysterious Vein (Ores)Mysterious Herb (Seeds / Flowers)Mysterious Legendary Herb (Seeds / Flowers)

These are your main sources of materials. Below, I’ve listed what type of materials they drop. It’s random how many materials they drop. They can be randomly found on most maps but I see them with a higher chance on maps that are very active (many people farming on it).

Suggested recommended locations to find them:

  • Sahel
  • Ghost Ship / MP3 (RIP)
  • Yu Garden Area (Diabolic Jiangshi Base / Mount Song Pathway / Shopping Center / etc)
  • Moon Bunnies at KFT
  • Popular Arcane River Maps (CLPs / Slurpy / BTC)

Secondly, you can go mine go mine at Secret Herb Patches that are found in Ardentmill.

  • This place will not give you any of the above 6 sources that I listed.
  • Unlocks after you complete Cole and Saffron’s quests.
  • The rarity of the herb patch dictates which level of materials you will find. (i.e. Expert Patch gives lvl 8-10 ores / seeds / flowers)
  • Go here if you want to:
    • Find a Rose Clipping for a pocket slot
    • Train your Herbalism and/or Mining
    • Gather a specific material (i.e. Juniper Berry Seeds)

Lastly, you can get random materials from a couple of sources that I’ll list here.

  • Monday Monster Park rewards
  • (Exchange 100 at a time with Cole)
  • (Exchange 100 at a time with Saffron)

[3] Special Materials

Side Note: Currently uncertain if you need to successfully mine / harvest to find these items.

[3.5] Not So Special Materials

These materials are sold by Nack, an NPC at Ardentmill. All are available in FOUR grades: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Superior

  • Molds
  • Herb Oil Bottles
  • Empty Potion Bottles
  • Potion Coagulant
  • Abrasives
  • Alchemist Stone (for Fusing) (No grades for this)

[4] Material Bags

You can only have up to 5 bags used at one time, however, so be wise in your choices. Dropping them is the only way to lower your count. I went for are two 12 Slot Herb Bags and Mineral Bags each and one Production Bag. Here are some bags that you can obtain:

[7] Training Professions

Try to maximize the amount of mastery you get using the least amount of materials

From my experience, mastery at lvl 10 and master craftsman starts to decay after24 hrs.Meister starts decaying after ~17 hrs. Make anything with mastery to prevent the decay.

Alchemy

  • Lvl 1 – 7: (108 – 136 Mastery per potion / pill)
    • Make any of the buff potions / pills or recovery potions/pills that you have 70%+ chance of making and uses 3 or less oils. There’s no way around this anymore.
      • It’s recommended that you make a potion that has an advanced or pill version. That away, you save on seeds / flowers. Note: The advanced or pill version takes plates / gems
  • Lvl 8+: (120, 510, 700 Mastery per potion / pill)
    • Make Defense Potions -> Pills (Each batch of 25 can make 5x 5 pills, to maximize mastery)
    • Recovery Potions -> Pills (Recommend making Mana 7000 pills as I have not found another use for Juniper Berry Flower oils)
    • Transformation potions (I recommend Yeti / Ghost Pirate, basically the 700 mastery ones)
  • Lvl 10+: (700, 2196 Mastery per potion / pill)
    • Material Bags
    • Boss Rush Boost Potion
    • Wealth Potions, EXP Potions (SAVE UP RECIPES! You can make them with a 5 minute CD for 24 hours every time you use a recipe)
      • Superior Empty Bottle x 1
      • Juniper Berry Seed Oil x 10
      • Superior Item Crystal x 3
      • Philosopher’s Stone x 5
    • Everything in lvl 8+

Smithing

  • Lvl 1-9: (164 – 210 Mastery per batch of arrows)
    • Make highest mastery arrows you can. Recommend that you prioritize higher % success over mastery, though, to gain mastery faster.
  • 10+:
    • Ty to u/Tasarom for linking this guide by u/Riisso (TY TY) for 10+ Smithing https://www.reddit.com/r/Maplestory/comments/8wni0c/meister_smithing_guide_2018/

Accessory Crafting

See u/MagianZexis’s guide for a more detailed version

Reboot Vs Non Reboot Maplestory

  • Lvl 1-7: (164 – 210 Mastery per ring / earring)
    • Make rings that take 1 or 2 gems / plates
    • Make earrings that take 3 gems / pates
  • Lvl 8-10: (200, 512, 900, 2000 Mastery per ring)
    • Recommended that you make lvl 80 Gray Face Accessories (Make all jobs)
      • It takes up space, so I’m not recommending you make Face Accessories
    • Ring IV – VI (Only consistent source of mastery at Lvl 10)
    • (Lvl 10+ Only) If you have recipes for Almighty Rings, etc, these are 1-time makes that are worth it (2000 Mastery Rings)
      • Just don’t make things that need Primal Essence, unless you want to. Idk, I can’t stop you. (I made a WABR, btw… ignoring my own advice)
  • Master Craftsman: (5325 Mastery per face accessory)
    • Make Meister Gray Face Accessories (Craft the lvl 80 Gray ones too)
      • There’s a 15 minute CD, so to speed things up, MAKE ALL JOBS

[8] Lowering Fatigue

Ty to u/f_em_Bucky94 because I forgot to add this section

  • Wait for reset or maintenance (Fatigue will go to 0, no matter what) (ty u/tallcatox)
  • After a certain amount of time, it will lower by 20 (Every hour, on the hour)
  • You can buy a Fatigue Potion from Cash Shop (ty u/I-EAT-PANCAKES)

Pocket Slot Maplestory Reboot Xp

[9] Miscellaneous Tips

  • You can fuse equipment together to reroll potential and flames (pink holy cup, pensalir gear)
  • You can stand anywhere in Ardent and extract by pressing the gear option on the bottom of your inventory
    • You will get 10 slots if Alchemy is the highest or equal level and mastery and 5 if Smithing or Accessory Crafting is higher
  • Master Craftsman Cubes drop from harvesting Mysterious Veins / Herbs

Thank you to Unit guild for their suggestions on the guide. (Specifically Danny, Kelly, Ji Woo, Brian, Jacob, Minsoo) ^.^
